cranking

I have been cranking out the skirts over the past week. I've found a few great fabrics, including the gorgeous Japanese wool in the pictures here, and have been sewing up a storm. I feel like I'm onto something here... lots of people have been buying these! (If you want to come and have a look, they're at Olive Grove in Brunswick.) Hooray! I have been thinking of putting them up on Etsy in a make to order kind of scenario, but the problem is they don't photograph as well as I'd like (and I'm struggling to edit the pictures too... omilord some less than great pics here!). They're the kind of thing that look much better on... I need me a model! I've tried getting my partner to photograph me before, but I always end up looking like a misshapen pumpkin. With lumps. Gawd. I think I should leave it there. I have been up to my ears in tax all day, and am feeling rather fuzzy around the edges.......

Love love love them!!! I'm happy to be your model too - just send one up to Brissie and I'll get someone to take the photo... it might take a few weeks of course... ;) Fabulous skirt and that green fabric is just gorgeousness itself. :) K

I'll have to get in to Olive Grove for a visit sometime. It will be lovely to see all the work you are doing these days.
